magnumb 97 Posted January 25, 2019 A lot of buzz around the hobby with this servo...anyone have any experience? https://www.amazon.com/Power-HD-LW-20MG-Waterproof-Standard/dp/B06XBGSCZW
No Slack 454 Posted January 25, 2019 Yep. I have on in my CC01 for nearly two years. Works perfect. No issues.
Nicadraus 6131 Posted January 25, 2019 I've seen some people use this for their crawlers and buggies. So far they look happy with it. I'm also planning to get one for my CC01 project. Currently, I'm using a Power HD L12HV servo on my FF03. It's a low profile servo with alloy gears, metal casing, coreless high voltage motor. Cost me $60 brand new. Theibault 1535 Posted January 25, 2019 I use those all the time with crawlers and trail rigs. Good servo for the money. I prefer the 13Kg one for all my normal cars and buggies.
Jonathon Gillham 4595 Posted January 25, 2019 I looked into those when I got my 8th buggy and only found good reviews. I didn't buy them in the end as the specs were not quite good enough (and the 23kg version was getting closer in price to some secondhand Futabas I picked up). A lot of people run PowerHD at my club and have done for years without issue too.
khyzersoze 268 Posted January 25, 2019 I used to use those servos as my budget crawler servo. I now use the DS3218 for my budget crawler servo. It's 20kg, waterproof, and comes with a metal servo horn! You can find them on ebay for around $15 or in packs of 4 for around $50.

S-PCS 568 Posted January 25, 2019 Bought one of these when I needed a servo quickly and nothing else was available locally. It's currently serving as a Super Clod Buster steering servo, and holding up fine.
magnumb 97 Posted January 25, 2019 anyone notice they are more or less noisy than others?
