Ahhhhhh...sorry, was thinking diameter...so likely to get about 2.5mm instead in additional height or thereabouts I'd say.

That’s what I need. That’s on your car?

The snow in my back yard melted down a bit and then It got really cold. Perfect for the rally blocks to grip and drift but not soft enough to throw snow into the chassis. I had an amazing time running my Audi in the snow. Here are some action shots

Yes. It has been all good with this car. I think this is truly my favorite runner. Definitely the fastest and one of the most capable despite its road status. Glad I went for it

I didn’t do the box art and I went with an Onyx 4000kv brushless setup and it’s a rocket!  I’m waiting on some leds to finish it up.

Soon i will get my Audi Quattro TT02 and i want to get it "Rally ready"

Does anyone uses these Dustcovers?

https://www.ebay.at/itm/193760101206?hash=item2d1d008356:g:aDMAAOSw2d9fuP6e

https://www.ebay.at/itm/353553417955?hash=item52516d06e3:g:XN4AAOSwLE1g2tt1

The first one would be way more sexy, but i would cost me 40 Bucks... the second one my will do the same job for about 15 Bucks

I don`t know i i should buy the fabric dustcover.....

Also i found some Mudguards on Thingiverse, does anyone use them? will they fit a Rallycar? The up/down movement of the Tires are bigger than on a Streetcar.

PS:

I found a Video with "must have" Mods:

So i`ve ordered the fabric Cover, maybe it was a mistake and i rushed because of lack in research and patience....

But i found a nice idea for a Mudguard:

This i ssimply made from the Plastic of a Binder.

Did anyone tested the 3D Print Mudguards from Thingiverse?

I put some Cardboard inside to prevent the Steering to lock and made da mudguard to try a fit.

These look like a professional after market solution. Did they do the job?

I think they would do the job.

I found that picture on the Interweb and it is a simple soluzion made from some Plastic. But i don't know how to mount the Part that touches the chassis, so i testfitted the Cardboard with Some Tape.

I think i will try the 3D Print Fenders.

Kamtec in the UK now make a nice dust/gravel guard for the TT02 rally cars. A little pricey but looks like it would do a good job of keeping things relatively clean and free of stones. Sorry I don't have a link but should come up in Google. Hopes this helps.

Cheers

Can anyone tell me why i see a lot japanese Videos where People put a different Damperbridge in the Car to mount bigger shocks?

When i put in the CVA Mini Shocks and cut away some Plastic from the Arms, the Rideheight seem to be at the maximum Height. Also the Chassis can easily be pushed down to "bottom out".

Here are the CVA Minis:

The Travel is limited by the Dogbones anyway....

Here are some bigger Dampers:

I don`t see much difference....

And what is that Suspension Mod for?

It`s a shame that my Japanese is so bad that i do not understand a single word.....

It`s waaaaaaay worse than my english.

Just ordered one of these from my local hobby shop this afternoon.   Won't be here till about mid-February.    Looking forward to the build.  This will be my first TT02 chassis.

So, now i installed CVAs. I used 2 sets of the DT03 CVAs and installed the shorter ones. Ithink they are to long so i used the shorter Rodends and the lower mounts.

But my Servo doesn't center.

The Servo seems to be quite strong and fast. You can't turn it by Hand.

The Servo doesn't get back into the neutral Position by it self but you can center it with the Transmitter, so i don't think the Servosaver is broken....

Is the Servo gone bad because i tried to turn it by Hand or is it the Radiogear that is bad?

The Radio i use is a "drive and fly models RACE-X 2,4 GHz".

Yesterday i did a Testrun  without the CVAs and it did center by it self......

Thr Servohorn wasn't attached to the servo the right way.

Between the servo and the first part of the Servohorn was a Spacer that would have to go to the outer End of the whole Servohorn. You have to put the little spacer on the screw and put it on the horn.

It is a bit difgicult to explain....

But that is the danger of buyong 2nd hand. You should ever take the while model appart and reassamble :D

Today i've tested all my Rallycars.

I have to say that the TL01 gives the best expierence.

The TL01 handles very good and has the best off Road usability with the mist ground cearence.

The M05 Chassis was the worst.....

Here are my rating:

TL01 - best Off Road handling, good onroad handling

TA02 Lancia 037 - Good onroad handling, but not enough groundclearence

TT02 Audi quattro - It was "ok"

M05 Renault r5 - bad.... unstable, no grip at all with the Rallyblocks, no accelleration because of the lack of grip, no offroad useability (groundclearence is goo btw) i couldn' drive straight and i couldn' turn. Maybe with harder shocks and ontroad tires it would be fun.

What type of surface were you testing them on - surprised the M05 was that bad. Were there lots of stones and stuff too large for its smaller wheel diametre to roll comfortably over?
