I used a DT-03 CVA kit on my Madcap.  IIRC it had both 'long' and 'short' end fittings.  I used the long ones to get clearance on the lower wishbone.

Tamiya do a spare parts kit for the CVA shocks, Antics have it cheaper than on ebay here.

Only in black but if it gets it running maybe that's good enough?  You never know they might even have it in their Bristol store and it'd save the postage!

Actually this is a cheaper way of dong it, and there's one in stock in Bristol.  Might be worth double checking the fitment though.

I don't work for them BTW, it's just I'm off work sick and bored! :)

Are you sure you’re not missing the spacers for the damper mounts, I’ve found a picture online of the side of the original Madcap box showing the hop-ups for the car & the dampers are the exact ones you have...

Oh, I hadn't realised. Those yellow shocks are a different construction to the CVA's I've got.  I don't think the parts I shared will fit.

The font tyres for this car are a nightmare to get hold off. If they are available they are expensive. Way too expensive for regular use.

Instead grab the astute front wheels and rear wheels and slap on shumacher tyres. The ride is higher and helps with the steering. Tyres are 6 bucks or so.

If i find out the size of the tyre ill update here. But yes i gave up ages ago with those discs.

@evssv69 - are those shock missing the clips/spacers to compact the springs? and that's why its sagging?

Yikes you are waaaaaay off on the rear. The rears need to be about 85mm. Your front looks good for the length.

Have you taken apart the shocks to ensure there are no spacers inside?
