I see there is one on eBay at the moment.

BTW what do you use to glue the head and arms onto the body?

Yes I did see that and tried reaching out to the seller but very little communication received back so I left it, plus it has no certificates which is important to me in the future. I use loctite super mini glue. Seems to be less messy than the other glues I’ve tried, I hold it in place for a minute and then done! Happy days!

I sent the seller a fair offer but was rejected. The lack of certificate is an issue. The packaging shows its from Matt but having a numbered certificate that matches the number on her bum proves without a doubt it’s authenticity. The paint doesn’t look like the normal high standard put out by Matt

Agree completely. With all the 3D technology out now days, the certificate is a must for me. If I didn’t already have 3 of them I would probably of preferred to go for a Wendy 3 over a Wendy 1 without certificate. If she had the certificate I would have paid the full asking price. The two above Wendy’s look super awesome by the way !

I don’t want to promote the ebay auction but it looks genuine to me.

Look at the artwork. It’s really well painted and the story sounds plausible.

The shape of her bottom is different from my 2008 one as is the signature and the panel on my Wendy’s back is blank-  giving the impression it was made in 2004 then signed and sold later.

On the down side, why would you sell your Wendy - after seeing this one on eBay I bought a WW2 body which I’ll try and fit to a chassis.

That said, if I had the cash I’d take a punt- it’s down to £170 atm😉

There’s no doubt in my mind that it’s genuine. But it’s a bit like artwork, without the COA it brings down the value to most potential buyers.

Hopefully it gets sold soon to someone who will keep it and cherish it.

The seller dropped the price to what I’d pay. I hit the BIN but seller cancelled my buy because he won’t ship to USA. SMH

I believe he dose them in batches. I think he recently sold out on his last batch but, you could always contact him and put yourself down for the next batch of series 3, if there’s any left that is. I’ve got 3 of them coming.. can’t wait!

Matt still has some of the latest ones for sale ( I think) - not generically painted all painted as per the customers specs - hence they take a while to be delivered but well worth the wait .

Have 4 now luv them !

The last 2 are done in my daughters likeness.
