Grumpy pants 4369 Posted March 14, 2019 So my GH2 from Finman arrived today, which I’m delighted with. It’s the 1st time I’ve owned one of these and it looks to me like it has the following- 1. Lunchbox gearbox 2. Wild One wheels 3. Hornet/Grass Hopper chassis 4. Mad Bull body 5. Multi model front bumper LB & WO etc Am I right or wrong? This one has CVA shocks and a Super Hornet rear shock mount, What else could these items go on? Will they fit my LB or WW2? Anyway I am intrigued, it’s bigger than I thought it would be and nicer too. But I really want to repurpose the bits on models I already own and then I should pass it on. I plan on putting Sand Scorcher wheels on and using the CRP bumper on my Wild One. Lots of questions.... hit me with some insight please! Simon
ThunderDragonCy 7779 Posted March 14, 2019 GH2 body came a long time before the Mad Bull so its the other way around. Although a derivative of the Hornet, the chassis was new for the GH2 and begat the Super Hornet and later with the DT01 gearbox grafted on, the Rising Fighter. Sounds like you have the Super G version with the bigger wheels and CVA shocks. Rear shocks will go on your lunchbox but fronts will be too short. I think the gearbox is descended from the grasshopper/hornet/lunchbox but I think it has updated shock mountings and a couple of other things. 2
NWarty 1325 Posted March 14, 2019 Grumpy, What color are the wheels? Fluorescent Yellow, Green, or Pink?
Finman 69 Posted March 15, 2019 Glad you are pleased with it. The wheels are the white Wild One's. The idea behind the project was to be a green special (like the limited edition grasshopper '1') super g, hence the cva shocks.

I’m really pleased with it Finman, I’ve never really given these anything more than a passing glance tbh. Every now and then I think about a buying a Super Hornet, but that’s about it. I’ll have a tinker with it at the weekend hopefully!
