.... These Blockhead motors models can turn a chaps head!

Lancia's drivers ran the 037s hard, so why not?!

I thought it was stupid not to use the bumper, but seeing it at full-tilt like that, the bumper probably broke off already!

I was never this destructive with my own Lancia Rally, but the philosophy of running a car that was built for it has always resonated - especially a racing model. Thus, I do love this picture

Besides, new shells exist for grafting repaired sections now ;)

What wheel tire combo do you think he is using for that Lancia?

Its tough to see in the running pics but judging from the tire size and wheel pattern (and to a degree, the blurry tread pattern) I'd guess Marui Land Cruiser/CJ7 wheels and "wart" (Marui's term) pattern tires.

I really dig the Blockhead Motors style. They nail that retro look so well

I wouldn't mind getting some of their decals and building my new Super Clod Buster up in their retro style. The stock decals with the faux Wolverine are a little lame TBH.

I’m thinking I should sign up to Instagram, another good reason to 🤔

I'm still struggling to commit the Blockhead Motors decal idea for my Clod - AUS$30 postage from Japan to Australia seems a bit excessive. That's more than the price of the decals!

Just found this clip on Vimeo from a few years ago. Looks like fun!

Already posted this in the "...what have you done today thread" - but I thought it would also be appreciated here ;)

I'll put up a brief build thread at some stage.

I wish I hadn’t seen this thread...  so does my wallet...

The good news is I will soon have some nice decal sheets!

My haiku in honor of this thread...

Life is so fleeting

Here one day and gone the next

But hey!  New decals!

I'll happily share! Even though I had the technique all planned in my head, I still learnt a few things along the way. The build was pretty much stock, but I spent a fair amount of time playing around with the paint. Stay tuned....
