Collin 1956 Posted April 30, 2019 Easy evening watching cheap TV trash and enjoying some modelling. Meanwhile it is really relaxing for me.

Some little tolerances on the print and the shaft doesnt pass both inner rings of the bearing. For my perfection this is all about 3/10mm, which can easily vary from the one to the next print.
Collin 1956 Posted October 14, 2019 3D modelling is so much fun for me! Once it was computer gaming for me, now its this. So great! Dyna Storm front suspension.
Collin 1956 Posted October 17, 2019 shwooop. Rear Dyna Strom suspension arm. This was much more trick then front arm. Somehow I really want to do some different design, som ehoneycomb or whatever but the original is simply great how it looks. Really floating design. DS parts will be available at shapeways as soon I got my proto-prints.
Collin 1956 Posted November 4, 2019 Printed, testet and fits like a charme. I am happy with the result and I hope someone will be able to fix his runners Dyna Storm front suspension arm (both 3mm hingepin and brass bushing version). Dyna Storm rear suspension arm (both 3mm hingepin and brass bushing version). And this little usefull friend: Dyna Blaster sway bar brace. J6 and J7 part. All avaliable at my shapeways store now. Dyna storm Carbon fiber parts coming next
Collin 1956 Posted November 5, 2019 Prototype cut for original shape carbonfiber parts. Perfect alignment.
Tizer 606 Posted November 19, 2019 Looking at the rear arms, aren't you worried about the orientation? I've had bad experience with arms splitting around the kingpins. I now always orientate arms in such a way that all the layers wrap around the holes of the kingpins if you know what I mean.
Collin 1956 Posted November 19, 2019 Not exactly but yes. I couldnt tell the printer operator about how he should place the part in the building room. I am just happy if he is accepting my small amount of parts to print. How exactly do you place the arms then? flat? Can you show me an exsample?

Collin 1956 Posted January 10, 2020 Full Metal Jacket Bulkhead made of 60xx hard high strenght aluminum. Did you ever print anything in aluminum at work? I had a look but its far more expensive then machining.
Collin 1956 Posted January 13, 2020 Got a new toy : ) From now on I can do prototyping myself. This makes things so much easier to do.

Collin 1956 Posted January 21, 2020 Dont know yet... the airscoop is real selfpunishment. I want it to fit perfectly and right now I am printing version 14. For DS/DB/TR15T its nearly all done as I think. But doing some dish front rims maybe next.
Collin 1956 Posted January 22, 2020 This is how prototyping looks like. You spend about 30h of printing and a lot more time of tinkering and computer work. Airscoop for Dyna Storm fits an will be available very soon. But how about Dyna Blaster? Dont know, its worth to try but needs cutting the shell. Hamm? Cutdown racer? Yeeee! ; )
Collin 1956 Posted January 26, 2020 Rim it to me baby, aha aha !!! This is a quick PETg testprint. Will print some ABS which will be smoother on the surface by next week. If someone is interested, PM me.

Collin 1956 Posted May 23, 2020 Hehe, still some little pieces I did not remade yet. This is the D4 gearbox-damperstay-link for DS, DB and TR--15T. They are often broken around the pressing nut.
Collin 1956 Posted May 26, 2020 Fella TC member @Boone227 will hopefully soon be very happy with this here. Standard chassis size, (nearly) unbreakable kickup und some other reinforced hop-ups. Another version of my DS211x mod-kit.
