Wanted - Sonic Fighter / Striker chassis for restoration

On the hunt for a new project and in need of a main chassis for a Striker or Sonic Fighter that needs restoration... also requiring a Sonic Fighter top cockpit.

I think I've got most spare parts to fill in the gaps but anything on offer will be gratefully considered... UK only please.

Usually @Tamiyabigstuff or @taffer chips in at this point

£165 inc Norway shipping (£45 shipping), shipping should be cheaper than that?

Over £100 still means you have to be really keen to purchase?

When the tiniest threat of a re-release is hanging over costly parts like these, sometimes it's best to keep waiting? If a Manta Ray re-re can be bought for £109 ish then a striker/sonic re-re has got to be a similar price ?

You could argue a case for it to be released as a Striker-CB , but be exactly the same! 😂

I know you said UK only but there is a nearly complete Striker for parts or repair on eBay USA right now.

Yes I did thanks but he won't post then and they need collecting, he is over 100 miles away so I'm considering asking other members in his area for a collection

That one in the link looks cracked makes me wonder if it’s brittle .

We will see.  I bought the last one he had listed and it arrived in good shape.

It is indeed cracked and not in a spot that can be easily repaired.
