ThunderDragonCy 7779 Posted April 2, 2019 I have a light pod to glue onto my RS200. The instructions suggest shoe goo. Never used it, but I tested a bit of painted surface of the pod under a decal with some general glue I have and it immediately dissolved the paint. Will shoe goo so the same? Don't want to waste money. Also can't obviously see how I might attached the pod now it's painted if glue wrecks the paint! Thanks!
ruebiracer 1024 Posted April 2, 2019 No problem, safe on PS paint. It´s exactly what you need.
TurnipJF 9113 Posted April 2, 2019 Safe on well cured PS paint, but can cause some odd effects if the paint is not fully cured before glue application, especially on metallics. 1
Big Jon 684 Posted April 3, 2019 As long as the glue has cured, you are good to go. My rally bodies are covered with Shoe Goo and drywall tape. If you crash hard enough, it'll pull the paint off of the Lexan, but I'm talking about short course style beatings, not fun running. 1
