Porsche 959 bodyshell

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a used/new/reproduction Tamiya Porsche 959 bodyshell? I think I had seen one on Ebay before but can't seem to find it now. Any help much appreciated.

I think kamtec models do them but they have a poor reputation for delivering anywhere near on time. I've had Land Rover shells from them before and they were great shells but they took weeks to arrive.....

I have both a Kamtec shell and an original one, and I have to say that the original shell is much nicer [](more profile / more details. The Kamtec shell is therefore also harder to paint than the original one.

If you order a Kamtec shell you only get a shell, and the white interior part (without the heads/helmets though!)

So, to my opinion the Kamtec shell is good enough to be used as a runner, but not for restoration purposes.

But offcourse there is also a difference in price....
