Charging in the field

What's the best power supply solution for charging in the field?

Back in the day I used to take a car battery but that was 25 years ago. The couple of times I've raced recently have been indoors with access to power.

Is a car battery still the best solution? If so what sort of battery would be suggested?

My lipo charger has a lead/Pb battery charging mode, could I use that to charge a car battery?

Alternatively to carrying a battery, my road car does have a builtin inverter. Would that be suitable to run a charger from?

A car battery with high ampere (120-150ah) or a UPS are the only options that I know. Otherwise, bring a small generator (1kv or 2kv) to power a couple of chargers, cooling fans (for your chargers & you), and a mini-ref :D
