Uranium 41 Posted May 21, 2019 at this point the news is a few hours old, but it's still a shock to motorsport fans and everybody. at the age of 70, three time F1 world champion niki lauda passed in the hospital presumably due to lung or kidney complications. most of us know him as he was cemented into the history books as a legend with the film "rush." how can you even miss someone you never knew personally? he was a remarkable driver and a person, and i think he was an inspiration to us all. i hope this isn't disrespectful in anyway. if it is, please delete this thread. rest in peace niki lauda, 1949-2019. 1
Mad Ax 9313 Posted May 21, 2019 Sad news, but what a life, and what a person. Not just a great driver but a great enthusiast and ambassador for motorsport.
