Problemchild 2149 Posted March 19, 2021 Refurbed a Dirt Thrasher over the past few weeks - lovely car Was in quite good condition shell Unpainted and no decals Lots of sand everywhere so it all went in the sonic cleaner came out well JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted September 6, 2021 Few updates (busy time with work) Firstly got a wl toys 144001 and put a cool Phat bodies shell on and some cheap hop ups - not a bad little car tbh and nice looking that the 1/10 one Scale next to the TT02b Hop ups package JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted September 6, 2021 I’ve build a dual rider - loved this build so cool JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted September 6, 2021 Got hold of a Williams F1 car and recreated the Damon Hill helmet from scratch JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted September 6, 2021 Then there was the top force evo With some bling With some Custom RC parts braces (check them on FB) not a bad build - got a 3 sum now JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted September 6, 2021 Also updated the dying beetle shell having 3S brushless going through the chassis takes its toll but man it’s fun and thanks to @Xeostar for designing the gearbox brace for me (which I hope is now benefiting lots of you) and yes I had to move away from UJ and paint my dog bones day glow orange - you’ll undergrad if you are a beetle runner But a new shell painted black (retrospectively a bad choice) JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted September 6, 2021 And finally for this update - went for another static model by this time 2 wheels was v v v fiddly but I loved it and occupied me for about 6 x as long as an RC car for 1/6 the price some more pics sooooo small JJ
Re-Bugged 10145 Posted September 7, 2021 Nice. Having built a couple of static bike kits as well, I have to wear my glasses now for these tiny pieces, as you say fiddly in the extreme, but worth it in the end. I’ve just been painting the chassis of a 1/24 Mack DM 800 that somebody gave me while I’m in between RC stuff, and the parts in there are as fiddly too. Aerobert 2143 Posted September 7, 2021 Wow, you were busy. Love the Top Force and his brothers. That reminds me of my Dirt Thrasher in a box which needs some attention.

I’ve also got a fighter buggy rx memorial and a super fighter GR violet racer in boxes but I think I’ll keep those 2 like that as a boxed pair next project - clod black edition JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted July 28, 2022 OMG I haven’t updated this for ages - sorry all tbh getting back big time into work after CV19 and I’ve run out of space plus I’ve had a few other non RC projects on the go…. 1. built the missus a cabin 2. been restoring a 1989 volvo 240 estate 3. been restoring a sinclair c5 4. bought, tuned and sold a smart car JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted July 28, 2022 Some pics of the clod black it has a mini carbon lift kit, an original bow tie grill in matte black, all chrome bar the wheels in matte black and an LED light bar. It also has MCI original clod decals they look good together JJ
Problemchild 2149 Posted July 28, 2022 So what else…. finished off the refurb of the mini clubman M-05 with its gold mini lite wheels I’ve built a TT01E Subaru which I’ve almost finished i purchased a koyosho optima turbo and put a few carbon pieces on it (plus I have a new shell and decal set for it as the person who built it was a little sloppy) I re restored a hotshot 2 that my mate had in his loft. He got a guy to restore it in exchange for a grasshopper but it was so badly done that I rebuilt it from the ground up with a replacement shell and decals so what’s next? i still have in box…. super fighter GR violet racer (prob won’t build) Fighter RX memorial (can remain unbuilt with its brother above) blockhead wild one (undecided) 45 anniversary 934 (undecided) i thinK my next build will be this tamtech GB-01 i have a tamtech hornet shell to go on it too. was going to get an XB one but I like building the best I’ve been collecting a few tamtech gear radio gear too in other news it got to 53 degC in my shed over the hot few days - phew JJ
