Thundershot drivetrain parts?

Recommended Posts

Hello again!

A couple of questions regarding Thundershot drivetrain parts:

Axles - are there any alternatives to part number 2595039? They look very similar to a number of axles used on other vehicles.

Diff outdrives - any alternatives to 2595040 and 2595041? Or is there a part number for both outdrives together? They look pretty generic.

The little 12.5mm tubes that the motor mount screws pass through - anyone know of a source for them? I can't seem to find any one the Bay of E.

Thanks!

Axles are specific. I got some manta ray axles and thry do fit, but they aren't quite right.

Diff outdrives are same as the DF01 onwards stuff. Get the hardened version.

I used a couple of the brass collar/sleeves you get with CVA shock eyelets for the motor when i lost mine.

Do you need some of these parts ?

I have a box of used Thundershot bits if you don't need new parts.

Thanks - that would be awesome! I don't suppose you have one of the 12.5mm tubes for the motor mount screws and a pair of axles going spare? If so, please let me know what you want for them.

I'll have a look - from memory there are some complete or almost complete front & rear gearbox assemblies in the box.

Certainly a good selection of bits to keep a few cars running or fix something up.

When you say axles, do you mean driveshafts or the bits the wheels fit onto ?

The bits that go through the hubs, that the wheels fit onto.
