nbTMM 433 Posted October 1, 2019 They are HXT connectors - prevents plugging in batteries / ESCs backwards accidentally. For inline connections there is zero chance of them exposing metal and shorting together unlike heat shrunk bullet connectors. Not pretty, but functional. Big Jon 684 Posted October 1, 2019 Aha! I use Dean's, not because they are the best possible connectors, but because they are very small. They're polarized, of course. Some of my cars use 4mm bullets, which I prefer from a cleanliness standpoint, even though they aren't polarized. I usually use all black wire, too, strictly for appearance. I get so picky about things that don't really matter.
Edo Rally 2 Posted October 16, 2020 Thank you. I upgraded my tt02 straight out of the box, chopped parts added parts, glue gunned the chassis although I bought the cover from Germany now as I m not gonna spend 1 hour to clean it every time I use it. This is officially one of my favorite threads. I ll be adding shims next week. Great stuff .
MikeLouieTKD 10 Posted November 13, 2022 Any secrets how you did you M3 brass inserts? I just tried on an old TT02 chassis and came out wrong. Made the hole bulge and the plastic deformed? Also a link on the inserts you used? Maybe I have the wrong type.
