Don't know about daily usage with it being sat on a shelf. Can't see why it would need to be alloy anyway. Plastic is fine imo.

If you fit it on the rear it leaves very small gaps where dirt could enter the pinion/spur area. The standard plastic part is longer to block these gaps. Lol. Well that's not a concern with running the carbon chassis 🤣😂🤣🤣😂

Juls1 1661 Posted October 8, 2019 Kinda hard to justify when china ones are 1/10th the price really. But I know, you will know, that they are not genuine. How much that will bother you I don’t know but I know in some situations it can be bothersome!!

Purely because I've got all of the previous packaging in the original model box.
TwistedxSlayer 1290 Posted December 12, 2019 So today, the self queen got a couple more shiny bits. The servo will be mounted with one post in front of the servo mount, and one sat behind it. Shame to cover it with a heat sink, I might take it back off for display purposes
svenb 3778 Posted December 12, 2019 Are you going with tamiya electrics through out? It'd look smart with a CPR 160 in it😉

svenb 3778 Posted April 12, 2020 Any further developments with this lovely chassis mate? Apart from the electrics next step must be titanium screws 😉 Sven

Wiverage 4 Posted July 13, 2020 Hello What alloy suspension did you use for this model and does it fit the TB-01 with out modifications
TwistedxSlayer 1290 Posted July 13, 2020 They are Tamiya TG10 Alloy suspension arms. There is a front and rear set on eBay at the moment for £125. I did end up buying a set of 53308 servo mounts from a guy off Facebook!
Finnsllc 917 Posted July 13, 2020 What are the wheel part numbers? looks great
Wiverage 4 Posted July 13, 2020 What dampers did you use?
TwistedxSlayer 1290 Posted July 14, 2020 I think the wheel part numbers are 51263. The shocks are the low friction hop up ones for the TA03
Wiverage 4 Posted July 14, 2020 Would Tamiya 53571 dampers work with the TB01, or would you recommend aiming for the TA03 ones? As i found a set of 53571 for £45 at RCMart instead of £90 on a sale
TwistedxSlayer 1290 Posted July 16, 2020 They will do nicely. I have the TA03 ones as they are the recommended ones by Tamiya at the time.
