[1] I didn't upgrade the motor.  It wheelies at a whim.  Sometimes you can even backflip.  If you put a stronger motor, it would want to backflip quite often.  That's an easy way to destroy the shell in a day.  My Wild Willy 1 and 2 are the only ones that still has the stock motors.

[2] Hobbywing Quicrun 1060 is cheap, but very good.

[3] Lipos is tricky.  You can find lipos that were made to fit Tamiya, like this:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QE3AVE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Or you can find lipos that are small enough to fit at a lower price.  You'd have to put some padding around it so it won't be rattling around on the inside causing fire.

Core RC stick lipos fit the WR02 no problem. I have a 21t brushed motor in my Comical Hornet (WR02CB chassis) amd it runs nicely. Wouldn't want it any quicker.

hi so i can run a lipo in to the silver can rs540 motor? What speed control would i need to do this?

Juggular that is very good advice and thanks man, i didn't think about padding out the battery compartment , good one

Thunderdragoncy core stick lipos good one could get them from modelsport. What motor manufacture for the 21t brushed are you using and what speed control?

If it has the tlbe-2s or whatever, it will be fine with the stock electronics, from experience with a lunchbox, the motor gets *extremely* hot though, I don’t know if it was too bad, so be warned.
