Has anyone here fitted the Ansmann/sc10/team c style trans to a King Cab?

I've always wanted a Kingcab but the transmission woes put me off. I decided a long time ago that since I can't really justify the cost of a mint one and because I'd want to run it, I'd be better off looking for one with a busted trans and doing a complete swap. 

I've heard of people fitting this style of box but has anyone on the forum done it? 

The thing is, I have a complete Ansmann transmission in my possession so it would make the obvious choice!

I'm guessing that on the most basic level, fitting it would be similar to the how the stealth kit works, I just need to make a plate for all the parts to mount to?

Anyone have any experience?
