I am thinking of re bodying my CC01 Defender and fancy chopping the roof of a Wrangler. Question is are they the same wheelbase or will I need to alter the rear end?

Not sure 100%, I guess they are same wheelbase, i had cc01 i used that for 24-hour Roadside Assistance, i was at the same point where you are now i was thinking that should i rebodying my cc01 or change my truck, after discussion with friends and family so i decided to change my truck now i have Ram 1500 truck.

Both Defender and Wrangler have 242mm wheelbase.

Good info. Before Tamiya Defender comes, there was RC4WD polycarbonate D90 body (not the hard ABS one) and it's quite long. Need to use Touareg propeller shaft.

Has to be hardbody for me.Find it difficult to remodel polycarbonate. Might even look at Chinese soft top defender as an option
