terra scorcher + spring drive= broken again DOH!

I went to Spring Drive and I finally picked up the pieces for my wheel hubs. The funky triangles that break. Anyways, thanks chris, I was driving it at home when all of a sudden, its starts to really pull to the right. Hmmm, stupid servo right? No, I now have another broken part that I did not get at Spring Drive. Who here has a old terra scorcher just laying around? HELP ME PLZ!

when you look at the car from the front, the bumper is in the way so remove it. then you see 2 long screws holding the a arms in place. the 2 screws go thru a plastic hole and that is where it snapped. thanks for getting my car up and running. i blame myself for going down stairs and chasing my daughter around the house hehe. my fault totally. stupid couch and gravity.

Can you check the online manual, if you dont have a manual already, and find out what sprue its off. Will find it easier to locate the part you need.

If you look at the front of the car, it is its own seperate part. Have not found it yet but still looking.

I found it. Page 14 box 29. 2 bb screws are being screwed into the piece I need. It holds the a arms on. I think it is on page 26 tree B number 8. WOW too much time on my hands while at work!

The part you Need is A-5 that's what i broke on my fire dragon & was told it is a hard to find part i had to buy a thundershot to get the spare i needed sorry i don't have a spare as i'm looking for another my self for my projet Thunder Dragon

B-8 is for the rear of the car

the part is found on the following cars

Terra Scorcher, Thundershot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon

When I restored the Terra Scorcher that Shen bought I was fortunate to get the whole A parts sprue. I think it came from a gentleman called Howard Wooster, if not it came from the states from rcchop shop on ebay.

Is there a easy way on ebay to serch? I type in terra scorcher/thunder shot/ thunder dragon/ and old stuff like that and I come up with entire cars for sale. Is there a website that has old tree's just sitting around?

Hi Joshua,

I always narrow the search down to Toys and hobbies section on ebay and tick "look in titles and descriptions. Sorry there is no quicker way I know of.

Go into "my ebay" and click "search" which is at the top of the screen. Then click "advanced search" and try that way. You can enter words you want and words you dont so you should get a more defined search.
