That would be cool but surely the drivetrain is way to exposed to stop the ingress of debris? The thought of scratching all that carbon makes me sad.. 😉

More likely so you don’t have to use those super short dampers should you have a need to use regular m chassis length dampers instead.

Same here. They should just make a tub chassis for it if rallying is their intention for this conversion.

I've seen a few kits using brass now instead of aluminum. While it is heavy and may be helpful in balancing, brass is softer and malleable compared to aluminum and is likely to deform easily. Especially using it for rally as suspension blocks which absorb a lot of vibration, shock and movement.

That would make more sense, but it's not nearly as exciting!

Brass is harder than aluminium but has less structural strength. Its also more brittle and will snap easier if bent.

By long dampers, they mean to be used for something longer than the super-short big-bore dampers. Don't know if they mean something as long as the regular TRF dampers or something in-between them and the super-shorts.

It’s for the std TRF shocks, not for rally. The kit comes with low profile shocks and on more bumpy tarmac tracks it helps to have the option to have a little more travel.

The brass mounts are for extra weight and chassis balance.
