Questions regarding P-supply for vtg Spray-Works airbrush

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I very much need to power-up my vintage Tamiya 74501 airbrush and last weekend I got this power supply (pictures below). I have no information about the original Tamiya p-supply whatsoever. I know this one can deliver 7.5 volts at 2amperes. Question is... will this work with my airbrush? I have the plug and cables reasy, and I'm just wondering if I can connect it and test it alright?

You all have a good Tuesday! :)

As for power source, for occasional use, a normal 7.2V battery (1200mAh or more) is adequate, but if airbrushing a lot, a mains power source is recommended.

Id have thought so, although i don't know the air brush.

Bit if i had something that needed that power, and i had that power supply, id use it.

I don't know the airbrush mentioned . I use a Maplin power station for my battery chargers etc .If you plug the air brush compressor in and select a low value ( 6V ) to test , you should be good to go , then adjust from there .
