Don't know about the rest of you, but I've had the hardest time trying to find these on ebay, or anywhere else. I managed to find a set off of ebay about a year ago and I think I've seen only one listing since. It surprises me that this is the case given the number of vintage vehicles that came with them. So who's bogartin' all of them?? 'fess up!!! and sell!!!

These were are dual compound tyre, supposedly good cornering, but yet long lasting. (can't say i've ever tried 'em myself, but was always fascinated by this little section on them in the Tamiya Guide Books.

They were fitted to a stack load of the earlier Formula type cars, so yes,,, you'd think there should be some spares sitting around somewhere......[?]

Easy answer, all Diplos, which were new or almost new and on their rims are now cracked and a piece of junk.

All Diplos still in their NIBoxes are nice and ok.

I only have 2 cars equipped with Diplos in my showroom, all others do have the normal A-sponge tires on.

And I do have 2 new sets, which never will be on Ebay or elsewhere.

If the Diplos are heavily used, they are sometimes in a better shape than socalled new built ones.

So everyone, who wants perfect CS cars will keep them (and thats a big lot of cars).

Diplos... junk! I have them on my shelf queens, but for running I use standard 12th scale foams.

I have a pair for sale. Not great but ok.
