Why not get the real deal? The Super Astute shell is still easy to find.

@GTodd The Super Astute was not about for me to covet before I got out of RC, so no interest to me. Also I personally think the Astute is WAY better looking.

They share the same body shell. It's only the decals that are different.

I think @GTodd is saying you could have got an original Tamiya body from the Super Astute, rather than a TBG repop. He’s not suggesting get the Super instead of the Astute. Atleast that’s how I’m reading it.

This is my new to me (litle used with new tires and rims all round)

I added period servo, receiver, Sport Tuned motor and mounted wheels and tires. 

 

 

 

 

I now need to do the body, undertray and decals.

Is the red the same as the firedragon?
