TBLE 02-S.

I'm having problems with my Avante, and i'm not sure if it's a faulty esc, or a defective motor. The motor is quite new, and not got many miles on it. The esc led stays on, the colour orange i think. There is no forward or reverse, any ideas?

Did you set it as brushed or brushless motor?

Press the ESC button and turn on the receiver.  Depending on where you release the button and press it again, the ESC sets up either brushed or brushless.  If it blinks in orange, it means no radio input.

(TBLE-02S is one of those ESCs I have to look up the manual all the time)

Find/download the manual for the ESC. Depending on the ESC it might also need a calibration with the transmitter.

if you’ve ordered one of the reconditioned one off eBay or bought second hand, they don’t always come in the configuration you expect (I’ve just gone through this with my lunchbox mini)

If running brushed, make sure you are using the yellow and blue leads from esc to motor.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs.
