New member here!

Had a clodbuster back in the day and now getting back into RC - have a lunchbox and an xv01 (plus a rwd converted m chassis mini, but that doesn't work very well!)

Based in Bournemouth, UK and will be picking everyone's brains shortly regarding lipo etc.

Hi everyone!

Welcome! Tell us more about your M-chassis and the issues you are having with it. Perhaps we can help you to get it sorted!

Welcome. B)

I'm also interested in your converted M-chassis.

You aren't driving it in reverse with the body the other way around...?

Welcome. FYI, you will own at least a dozen cars/trucks by next week. It's what this place does ;)

Believe it or not, the M-03 works rather well like that, with a steering servo installed where the MSC servo would have been fitted originally. You can even set it up for 4-wheel steering by retaining the normal steering servo. That is exactly how my race-winning teapot racer is configured:

Welcome @garthxv01  :)

I'm based up in Wiltshire but I travel down to Bournemouth a lot.  There's a fair bit goes on down your way - Bournemouth RC Trucker meet up one Saturday of every month on Castle Lane West, the Dorset Drift RC club meets every Friday eve in St. Leonards, and the South Hants Model Car Club have a permanent tarmac circuit near Hordle.  There's a good community and some really friendly people in that part of the country :)

Race winning? There is a race for crockery now?

Indeed - there are many such events in the UK and around the world. Tamiya is well represented and the OP's M-chassis would do well. Have a look for "splendid teapot racing" on YouTube.

Hello and welcome

as others have said - it’s a slippery slope

i had a lunchbox re re for years then bought a beetle re re and then over a long weekend I suddenly had 5 more

then the next weekend I had another 2

the I had to build a shed to keep them all in

(see my project thread)
