Needless to say, the Tamiya Blackfoot is my favorite R\C car, hands down, and when my wife and older daughters asked what I wanted for Christmas, is asked for the Blackfoot....

I was motivated by the fact that I can run it brushless, thanks to the MIP Ball diff, and I can make it my own with the lots of 3D printed parts available for them....

So here we go....

I never liked the stock roll/light bar and was looking forward to buying an Ampro light bar from Shapeways, but since I had a Clod roll bar laying around, I modified it a little to accept 5 light buckets, and I’m waiting for MCI KC lights decals...

Progress....😁

There’s still lots to be done, still waiting on parts, and MCI decals....

I also ordered a different set of 😏😉 wheels and hex adapters😁

Looking good .BTW , Looks like the roll bar is leaning back ? You could try a spacer ( styrene card etc ) under the rear brace mount point the same shape as the roll bar base which would roll foreward the 2 front hoops

What brand/model of wheel are you using???

Terry

Jconcepts 2.2 Midwest wheels, with the rear outer ring cut off to narrow it down....you’d have to run a hex conversion set for the front and a hex adapter for the rear....

The pressure the rims place over the tires' walls are going to break them for sure.

Unfortunately, the Blackfoot tires are prone to sidewall cracks, moreso with slight changes in the rims dimensions.
