is it just me or are cars getting more boring as time goes on? if you look at a bruiser, isn't it way more interesting then a typical 4wd truck of today. the f.a.v. is another of my favorites, it's amazinly realistic. who cares if abs palstic bodies are fragile, the look amazing compared to lexan. what happened to real rc cars - 90% aluminiumand 100% indesructable. i have seen vids of clods and 3speds going through water up to their roofs, and havn't stopped. am i the only one that feel s like thais?[8)]

Those old Bruiser and sand scorchers are not as tough as they appear. In fact they are quite fragile. A Monster truck of today is far more durable than any of the ones of old.

Tamiya still makes some fantastic scale models like the semis and tanks. The problem is that these has a limited appeal and they are quite expensive. market dictates what gets produced and at this point the market seems to want more subarus and T-maxx clones.

i think you got more car for your money back then,if you take the hot shot compared to the bajachamp its got twice as many parts but its still just as fast and a whole lot better designed!,and as durability goes i use to break chassis's on hornets every other week now im a lot older i find it really hard to bust anything,i take more risks with radio gear and esc's than i use to but i can justify that by how much i earn compared to how much pocket money i got.

i just prefer the older car.
