Hey guys,

I have decided to sell my three vintage cars I dug out of the loft.

rough rider - in bits but 99% complete including original shell in excellent condition.

hornet - complete And fully working with hump battery and acoms stick controller. Shell needs replacing but that aside it’s in good condition.

monster Beetle - fully working with bearings, cva shocks and mip ball bearing diff upgades. Shell needs replacing but it’s complete including driver etc. Whole truck is in great condition.

would rather sell as a job lot but unsure how much I should be aiming for.

is eBay the best place? Where do most guys pick up their vintage cars?

to be honest I’m hoping for enough to purchase a Tt02b and a few cans of paint.

can stick some pics up but won’t be for a few days as I’m away for new year with my family.

Personally I would sell individually because someone who wants just one of them might not bother if it comes with what he/she thinks is baggage and it could sit on whatever selling site you use unless you practically give them away! I find people want things for absolute peanuts these days!

I would also sell each model individual. I've made the experience that even if you offer to split a lot, peoples interest is a way less than for individual offers. Have a look at ebay for sold models and then estimate the value. And you can always offer a discount if someone takes all.

This depends on which side you are, seller or buyer ;). I have recently sold different things over classifieds ads and people often want things for peanuts. Also if you are looking on the same portal espeacially for modelling stuff things are often completely overpriced.

Yeah you have a valid point people do tend to think that the model say like an original sand scorcher or avante for example (only because I've just been looking at them) that they have on Ebay is going to be their pension but it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it not what he or she thinks they should get for it!
