Ok everyone I am trying to rebuild/restore a couple of TNX trucks which are rusty and one part I am struggling with is the ball pivots as the chrome coating has rusted off. Here is a picture of some new ones. Any ideas after I have removed the rust and polished with a dremel?
I see you can get new ones at Tamiya ISA however I can’t purchase from there as I am in New Zealand.

Use aluminum foil. With these small parts it's a little bit tricky... but you can restore it.

That works wonders I’ve used that method a couple of times on chrome.

Polished up they will work fine but will rust a lot quicker and as such will need very regular maint. if the car is being used. Try the Kyosho part TR123, also 11mm but not sure on the thread size, likely to be the same.
