TA03 shock tower question

Recommended Posts

I know Tamiya released an strengthened front mount of CRP. Was there ever a rear one?

You mean the FRP stick that bolted in front of the top shock ball screws?

Should be usable both front and rear I'd have thought... anything at the back that obstructs it? (Probably more likely on 03R then 03F)

If not then GPM made a solid chunky alloy shocktower.

I've used the front reinforced one on the rear.

I thought that may be possible. It looks like the width of the shock mounting points is wider in the rear. Mostly just curious if there was a rear one. Funny that they only made a front one.

nah F&R is same

suspension arms F&R are the same, the shocks stand upright at the same angle F&R. The only variant is TA03R can have a lower front tower which needs shorter Super Mini CVAs.

TA03 is iconic for its modularity, nothing else comes close (don't say LEGO) :)
