Can someone tell me all the models that were built on the same platform as the Super Champ & Sand Scorcher?

On what you call Sand Scorcher platform: Rough Rider (1979), Sand Scorcher (1979), Ford XLT Ranger (1980)

The original Super Champ platform (1982) has never been used on another Tamiya RC car.

There are re-releases available on all of the aforementioned RC models, but they are not exactly the same, as Tamiya had to "recreate" them in order to market them again.

we're still waiting on the Ranger ... or did T sneak that out during the year when I wasn't looking? :)

Same chassis also doesn’t = identical.

Each SRB evolved - so early versions of the Sand Scorcher are diff than late.

And because the kits were sequential a late Scorcher can look a lot like a mid Rider / early Tramp in certain places.

Take a look at various well researched views by @Hibernaculum on here for the detail - just don’t mention Mk1 😂
