The motor in a evo run down the chassis where as the ta05 is 90° mounted. The fins on a heatsink are supposed to in line with the air flow. 

In all honesty probably doesn't make much difference.

So those Eagle eyed amongst you, you may have noticed its got a front diff and not the spool. This is because..... the ball diff was cheaper and available. Lol no other reason.

 

So I did some more tinkering and this is where I am currently upto with posting pictures...

 

The build is a bit further on.

So after refusing to pay silly amounts for postage from Tamico I've been left with no options for sourcing a front shock tower....

 

So after some conversations with Mark, he suggested that the TRF415 shock tower may fit. So i took a gamble and ordered one.

As you can see it does fit..... JUST. With spacers. Due to the design of it it catches on the diff cover.

 

But 2mm spacers brings it away from the case just enough.

95% finished. Need to fit the servo mounts, motor, wheels and tyres, body and longer body mounts on the front.
