What is a ‘pack’?

Recommended Posts

Noobie question here, but I see people referring to ‘packs’ as in: ‘Set the ride height and from the first pack it was driving well’....

When they talk about the ‘pack’ are they talking about a battery pack, or is it referring to something else (like maybe a term for filling the suspension or diff with oil?)

Thanks for bearing with me :)

Yeah, battery packs.

Thanks, guess I was overthinking it :)

It is a little confusing as "pack" is also a term used when tuning dampers, but in this context, yes it is indeed a battery pack as stated above - a common measure of practice time as many people make a setup change, put in a fresh battery pack, drive until it is depleted, then come back to the pits, tweak the setup again and go out for another pack's worth of running.

Unless Tommy Chong was tuning his RC, then it would have a completely different meaning...
