White bumper set

I came across this white bumper set in a lot of stuff i purchased. It has the same part number as the black set i already have. Any idea why it is white, why the part number is the same as the black one, and what kit this would have been for?

I dont recall seeing any of the kits with white bumpers.

I think the Brabham BT-50 (vintage F1) had the white bumper set?

The white bumpers were first seen on v early 936 / Countach onward 

Which would be more 78 Ligier / Ferrari than 80 Brabham ?  

Tamiya parts bins often held out for a while though - and they were def still around for the Renault 5 / VW Golf 

There’s speculation they only appeared in Japanese / home markets sets  making kits and your parts rarer - but impossible to validate or prove these days

Since posting this, i have spotted a vintage Countach for sale on ebay with a white bumper, but i cant say i remember seeing them about.
