Pictures of your driver figure

Recommended Posts

I’ve just bought a 54416 4x4 driver figure to go into a Bronco, but I’m a bit short on inspiration for what colours to paint him. Anyone got any photos of their driver figures?

I took a bit of inspiration from my own wardrobe for a Blackfoot driver

That check shirt looks great, that must have taken a while?!

Not as long as you would think! Theres a really good guide on how to do it and surprisingly you dont have to be very neat with lines either for it to still be very effective.

I posted a link to the guide in the what did you do today thread

Not sure you want to use helmet or hats for your Bronco driver. Here's a couple of mine.

This one was inspired by Tom Wopat's classic clothes:

i did see Burt Reynolds in that drivers face soon as i saw it,  i'm great with faces i always put someones face to an actor or actress, my mom in her hey day looked like Liz Taylor, pops with his side chops in the 70's looked like Elvis, had a high school friend swear it was Paul Newman's twin brother, gosh that's just a few, worked with a guy that looked just like Kevin Spacey heck it's funny how every one has a twin, i had an incident which was truly heart wrenching at the Mattole  Grange i looked exactly like their son who died a year before and the people there i know knew them and they wanted to meet me and the mother gave me a hug.

kept telling my neighbor go see your twin at the Moulding Company it was frickn' hilarious

any ways  this looks like Richard Basehart (google him) :D

it's absolutely darling,

one of these days i want to weatherize a vehicle, i have done it so many times to my train layout buildings and some cars/trucks, even ashes work for static objects, powders and find that right stroke of the brush it's fun to make stuff old looking.

me likes your rust bucket very much!

I went nuts with painting faces a while ago... They are still on the sprues...

I added shoulder pads, because even ladies had them.

Nothing fancy on the uniform, though. Just some yellow lines.
