There is one thing that strikes as odd about the re release of, And i quote * The frog * Its name * Mighty frog * Im just curious to know why it has been named so. Im thinking maybe if will have a slighty upgraded gearbox. Although nothing visually different on the outside. But with changed on the inside. Ball diffs etc. I use when the pics come from the show we will know, Or maybe not as the case maybe !!!

Check the thread on the Frog rerelease. The Mighty Frog was the original name in Japan while it was known as just the Frog elsewhere. There is no name change.

Oh man, the Thundershot AND the Top Force? My wallet is going to take a pounding... It would be ultimate to have a Top Force Evolution, but I'll settle for a standard Top Force. []

Wonder if they'll fix the problem of the fragile A5 part on the Thundershot... ?

Definitely looking forward to the Top Force re-release, hopefully Tamiya will also re-release so of the hop-ups for the car as well.

Well i have officially decided to give up collecting anything but all these sweet re-release kits.... to many of them to get now, going to stop me from all the other cars i want

Good news for all collectors, but the only car that really interests me is the Top Force. I hope they will also re-release Hop up parts for this car.

The Frog is not a scale car, so I would not put it on the shelf. If you want to run it, you have to bear in mind that this one is a bit low tech. It does not even have front oil shocks. The Manta Ray is a bit ugly and needs tons of hop-up parts to perform well. Same with the Thunder Shot, a car that has only one front oil shock damper.

Rereleasing all those half bred cars (except for the Top Force maybe) seems to me like a cheap trick.

Yesterday, I drove my Rising Storm to bits and wonder, if Tamiya could finally release a HIGH PERFORMANCE 4 WD runner and put 4 wheel offroading back on the map. Is it really so hard to build a decent and affordable 4 WD buggy that can cope with Assos and Losis? Why is the only buggy race in Germany held by Tamiya the so called Fighter Cup? For your info: The Fighter Cup is only open to minors aged 14 or so and the only cars that are allowed are the Fighter Buggy and equivalent.

I would be happy, if Tamiya could also issue more rally cars with a sealed RC box or at least shells like the Peugeot 307 WRC Monte Carlo to put on my TB-01. It would be interesting to have a WRC race in 1:10 with all the cars that take part in the real rally.

all the re-releases are killing me in a way now (wallet wise). I kinda see no point in keeping my older RCs that I dont run anymore on the shelf when I can buy 3 new ones or something. Rather have 3 thundershots new in box than have one old blackfoot with box sitting on shelf. dang...

All the rest of the re-rels only appeal to 30+ who had them when first out (or wanted them). Lunchbox has much wider appeal - loads of kids keep looking at my demo one and saying they want one, but I've never heard any of them showing the slightest interest in the Grasshopper or Hornet I've got on display...

This is great news. So many re-releases of sweet classics! With the Thunder Shot coming I wonder if theres any chance a re-release of the original Hot Shot will be coming in the near future?

This is so awesome though, but I'm still waiting for the "GRAND FINALE" of a Metal Chassis base re-release. Maybe a Bruiser!!??[]

I dont hink these are all great rereleases as the frog will sell to collectorts and the top force might also sell but a manta ray? I thought those were still avaible though. Why dont they rereleas a nice volkswage beetle buggy on the df02 or a wild one instead?

Seeing this rerealeses makes me think they will rereleas all an alos as said before a nice rally body or a hot raod going car like an m6 ore a bentley would surtenatly make an nice difference between the skyline's scobbie's and 350z's!
