Can you Rit Dye CRP parts?

Recommended Posts

I’ve got a front bumper that I would like to dye.

It looks and feels the type of plastic that will take a dye.

I’m sure one you will have 1 at hand knowledge you can share with me please?

Thank you

Have dyed a CRP ORV ("Frog" ) front bumper in fluorescent pink Tamiya dye (from "white" virgin nylon) and it worked very well. Absorbed the dye very well and didn't distort.

CRP’s white plastic will most likely take a dye. I’ve even dyed their yellow bits.  I use Rit’s liquid dye and mix it strong.

I’ve been able to dye all the CRP parts I’ve ever encountered...  RIT is what I’ve used...

Think they use(d) nylon for most of there stuff so the answer could be yes.

The FX10 parts I got for my LB were black outside, white inside so by the looks of it they even dye themselves.
