Need help to identify this (rare) vintage car

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased this car in a lot. I do know a lot of cars from back in the day. This particular model is unknown to me.

Anyone on this forum that has a clue ? Engine position is unseen as far as I know. It does share the looks with the early Graupner and Kyosho cars though.

I like the umbrella-style spur gear and vertically mounted muffler. Very Steam Punk!! (It will gurgle oil after a while, but I guess that's what the drain plug is for)  Whatever it is, it's cool.

Would love to see this painted up as box art. The Ferrari colours are ok but it needs that 70's stripe and colour scheme. I have the Sanwa red and black switch plate if you are looking to restore it box art. I was wondering if a sand scorcher roll bar would work for the screen frame that appears to be missing? God knows how it attaches though, unless it just screws to the plastic tub and gets ripped off the first time it rolls!

It is very nice though, I have kit envy!
