So **** perfect, like the light diffuser very much! Can´t spot from the light beam, that it is LED. Well thought out and perfectly built and assembled! Can´t wait to see it on your body together with the rear lights...

When Tamiya released the first Mini with the smaller wheel arches body, they used the front tires from 43018 QD On-Road Spare Tire Set F&R, the spare tire set for the QD Ferrari F40 and QD Honda NSX

I had the original Mini, m01 back in 1996 maybe, that cars long gone though I do have one new in the attic. If I can get to it without to much effort I will try and compare the bodies between it and one of my later minis. I think I have a few others up there. As long as they aren't still shrink wrapped I would be happy to poke around and report back.

Moved the steering servo to make some room in the chassis.

Added a servo...

Now I´m really curious, what that servo will be doing in the future!;)

auto-hood pop up  release and opener?

or as mentioned above could do both drivers head and wipers.

just some bent rods and all you've done to this machine, should be fairly easy to execute.

Make it happen, please do.

I first thought Windshield Whippers too....

BUT you're much more creative than that!! 😊

RETRACTABLE Canvas Top? Swiveling Spot Lights? We wait with breathless anticipation!

Oh no, I may have unintentionally set your expectations too high! Okay, let's see...

  • Wipers - Would be awesome though if I could do it and they actually wiped the windshield.
  • Steering wheel and driver's head - Hmmm, sort of (steering wheel would look good).
  • Hood pop up and retractable canvas top - In my dreams.

Anyway, here it is. I hope it's not too anti-climactic.

Here's a video to close the 2CV build. I should have taken the video before driving FPV and slamming into things in my house. I broke the frame of the front grille and the badges on the rear are coming off.
