Hi - first post & a noob so be gentle. I'm saving an old basher TA01 I just bought & got this steering hop-up. I'm unsure on how the connecting bar goes on, it seems it can be fitted from underneath or on top as per pics below, but the main problem is if I tighten the screw up then the steering will not steer as the connecting bar will be fixed & not free flowing?

The trick with those is to put a small dab of threadlock on the threads in the screw holes at each end of the drag link before attaching it to the steering arms. You can then torque the screws to the point that they don't allow excessive play but still allow the assembly to articulate. They won't be tight, but the threadlock will stop them from loosening and falling out.

Thanks for the mega quick reply & awesome news as I have some threadlock lying around. Now I can finish off the chassis & fit the Dodge Charger Kamtec body on, yee-ha!
