TDanny 146 Posted March 6, 2020 Hello, I would like to ask for some help on building the Clod Buster. I built a lot of Tamiya kits before and just like a lot of you, I never greased the opened areas which could get in contact with dirt. So the Clod Buster manual states to grease those giant ball joints on the trailing arms (attached the picture from the manual). And also the servo savers. Is it a good idea to do so or should I just skip that step? Thanks in advance, Daniel
Bromley 681 Posted March 9, 2020 I greased my balls🙄. I figure they are high up and out of the way, so shouldn't gather too much crud.

rc_ox 323 Posted March 12, 2020 This was a good question! I too wondered if it was better to leave them dry. I decided to apply the grease in the end and made sure I wiped off the excess.
