Ok! So my venture into F1 with my F102 Footwork wasnt silk smooth.

Had to score some new tires and a set of gears, how hard can that be?

Now i know...

In light of that, i thought of making a list of the alltime hardest parts to get a hold of NIP, or at all maybee.

Heres what i think in light of what i have tried to score during the last year:

1: Gears for the F102 chassie. There just isnt any NIP out there, believe me, until evoman fixed me up with a set (thanks alot)

2: Tires for the F102 chassie. Like hens teeths it seems. Ok, think theres one set of front tires for sale on the bay now actually. And the Tyrell 6-wheeeler rears should be right also, but original NIP is HARD. Got a pair of F103´s that do fit, with abit of work.

3: SR/HB gears. Have searched for a new set since i got my SR early this year. So far zippo... Hope to get a set of used ones from a TC member though...

4: TA01/02 aluminium motor mount. Original NIP just isnt that common.

5: Manta Ray hardened prop-shaft. Have one after going for the BIN at a crazy price, would do it again though!

This is based on what i´ve been looking for as i said, feel free to ad your own list of those impossible NIP parts you so badly want.

So many but i think i can cut it down to 5.

1, Datsun 280zx front bumper (infact most things for the datsun/can am)

2, Diplo tyres (countach front etc)

3, Original 934 Speedo

4, countach 05 chassis set

5, scorcher/rider chassis set.

That wasn't difficult [;)]

Again a Frog C parts tree is darn hard to obtain, but as with the ThunderShot A5 part, that will change soon...

H parts weren't much easier to get.

Frog/Willy 1 mech speed controller is probably even harder.

Not really the hardest part to get but i have a nice skyline r32 body (new and just 10 euro)and decals (NIP for 3 euro's)and a interior of an civic (used for only 1 euro) and yes i know the driver is on the wrong side then LOL. So I still haven't got the wing. A little search on the interent tells me ist still able to order them. So went to my LHS with the 9 digit number and after a very long time (smewhere around 2 to three months) I still havent got the part and havent seen one on ebay too, just a whole body or a kit.

About "any" new parts for the older 1/16 tanks,

It is just not out there for sale, even if you are prepare to pay.

You have to be lucky to find some.

ow, and conrad motor's ...

For hardest parts I'd say Wild Willy ( or Blazin Blazer ) brand new tires.

As for a kit I want to say a NIB SuperShot. I've been looking for one for a VERY long time now and haven't seen one for sale or for auction.[V] ( Jason "jr-rc" had one for auction, but someone must have made him a HUGE offer because he ended it early only after 1 day [:(] )

Well I managed to find three of them so they can't be that rare, perhaps I was just lucky though.

From my own experience the GRP Sand Scorcher chassis plate is proving rather elusive, anybody got one ?

One that I can think of : Original Lancia Rally front "bash guard"..........almost impossible.
