Toolmaker72 485 Posted April 3, 2020 Can you 3d print with two colours on the same wheel?
Hobgoblin 1059 Posted April 3, 2020 That's one of those "technically yes, practically not really" questions. It's possible on high end machines, for example those with dual extruders (or cheap ones with careful part orientation and lucky filament changes!) It's almost certainly eaiser to paint after the fact than fuss about trying to set up multiple colours.
iron2dog 13 Posted April 4, 2020 Well, I'd say the same as @Hobgoblin, what is the reason btw?

Some of the wheel designs are based on split rims and thought possible print it in two colours like with a grey/silver outer rim with the centre in original or a colour to suit the finished body. The split rim design could possibly be made a little wider to give a scale dish to the wheel. That’s what I was thinking 🙂
