Why 2 wires here?

Recommended Posts

I got it as a receiver battery for a nitro truck.

It fits Dancing Rider tightly.

But my ESC has XT60.  So, I'm trying to build an XT60 adapter.  10C isn't bad for a 370 motor, but one set of wires is so wimpy and frail.

Seeing as it has two male plugs.... would it be possible to take the juice from both sets of wires at the same time?

They would connect to one XT60 plug, and that adapter could connect to the ESC.

(I could always do it first and ask questions after frying things, but it's probably better to ask first)

I would imagine 1 is for plugging into the on/off switch for the receiver and the other one is to plug into a charger to charge the pack. Some times a nitro car on/off switch wiring harness has a spare plug for charging. Makes it better than having to constantly unplug the harness in the car.

Of course with a lipo you do still need to plug in the balance leads. With that battery both 2 wire leads go to the same place so its up to you if you wanna use one or both. (doesnt matter really) I would just use one.
