Clodbuster (and super?) Wood effect load bed

Recommended Posts

My friend and I have developing this load bed for a few weeks

a black load bed with wooden boarding (slightly raised to hide the body clips and rear end screws) with wooden boards and Chevy detailing

would welcome your thoughts on this....

This is mk1

we are removing the holes for body posts and screw access and going to make it with an optional aerial hole to support digital or analogue Rx.

we are just thinking through some of the “fixing it to the model” ideas as once the bed is on your can’t access the body clips but I’m thinking Velcro

so some trial fitting on an old shell (must send my friend the rollover bars)

Liking the planking but the Bow Tie doesn't sit right with me - If it has to be there,  I reckon it needs to be rotated 90 degrees, so it'd match the emblem orientation on the grille

Yeah tried this but it didn’t work with the boards going front to back

we shaped the width to match the wooden boards

Great work ,i think it would look better without the bowtie though

Wouldn’t be as “tamiya” then though haha
