These are posted from Japan - big question about when they would get here and then you'd pay about £30 of duty and admin on top.

Where are you from ? I buy most of my stuff from Japan or China and there is never any extra fees and it arrives in a week or less.

UK. I actually had a DB01 posted to me from Japan recently (although I'm sure the actual model is irrelevant) and it attracted a couple of quid in VAT and a bit more in admin. No import duty as it was below threshold. 

That was pre-pandemic mind, it might be now that they take longer to get here and get processed but might not attract anything because of a lack of hands at the processing centres.
