Did that come with yellow shocks or chrome ones?

I was wondering because i have a line on a very cheap one, and i wanted to find out if it was a Re-issue or an original one (could be aftermarket shocks btw) but still, did the original release come with yellow shocks?

Regards..

The oringal came with chrome friction shocks.

The yellow shocks were hop-up oil shocks, quite rare nowadays since now they are black.

By the way i don't think the pumpkin was re-issud its just had a long production line [:)] in my opinion trucks like that never date, but the lunchbox has been re-issued.

I hope this helps,

cheers,

pete.

as pete said, the pumpkin never came with yellow shocks.

the standard kit shocks where always chrome bodied friction style dampers, but were of a VERY basic design. unless you just like the chrome, proper aftermarket oil shocks look a lot better in my opinion!

it sounds like the pumpkin you're after is fitted with proper tamiya hop up shocks.

although they can now only be bought new in black, yellow ones are making a come back on the re release thundershot!

the pumpkin was never re released, however very minor changes where made to it during its long production life. (oldest ones had thinner body posts i believe) The chassis is of corse still in production, in the form of the lunchbox, the truck that the pumpkin origianlly replaced!
