The Glasgow RC club are on a Wednesday night, (password - grc) but not looking like I'll be on this week, that's the backshift self isolating, so I'm 12hr nightshift now! 🤦‍♂️😥

I'll see about how to set up a, tamiya club , discord group (If that's what they're called ?), do VRC,  or chat or whatever.

I have joined  I might stick on my tablet when I do my usual Sunday RC day in the workshop so I can see if anyone else is online.

My local club are running VRC nights on Mondays, usually about 10 of us join in.  I actually really like the way VRC works - we run 2 heats side-by-side and the organiser sorts out an official FTD at the end.  It's great not having to a) marshal and 2) hang around for an hour between heats.  It's also good that one of the guys on Discord has been playing VRC for years and has superb setups for every track

I'm quite new to discord but I think that's how it works. Although I can't work out how to quit from it when I'm done - last night I was still listening to my race buddies talk to themselves 10 mins after I thought I'd exited. My house mate is a discord genius so I will ask his advice if I get stuck
