NDF-01 option tyres

Ok so I was a bit naive to grab a set of the v block tyres and a new set of red rims for the nitro thunder 

of course they didn’t fit

so I need the truck rims!! 
 

however, with the truck tyres and wheels the guidance is to fit the optional slipper clutch and the optional bevel gears

needed? Essential? Must?

tbh I’m not going to be running the car much if at all but if I were to run it with the truck wheels and tyres, is this a big no no.

i can understand why it’s all needed - just wondering how the tolerances are

Have you got the buggy tires ,

Do they have a similar diameter if they close can't see a problem I run nitro onroad a lot and the diameters are constantly changing during a race it's never been a problem with the gearing ,unless your getting down to the rims

these are the option tyres for the NDF-01 but I didn’t get the option NDF-01 Wheels haha (and then it says you need the slipper clutch and the updates diff)
